Do recommend for a weekend escape

Comfortable room, friendly staff, the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to satisfy all tastes, and the convenient location makes it easy to explore the city within a short 20 km drive from the airport.

We enjoyed almost everything, had warm experience.

The place was fairly clean and staff was nice. The room was tidy and reasonably large, there were an electric kettle, a mini-fridge-bar, and a personal safe. Our location was marvellous and absolutely perfect in a nice quiet area with very good off road parking. It was also near to the zoo and the beautiful Rhein river. The service was nice throughout our stay. The place was quiet and charming, nothing too much trouble, recommend.

The hotel's historic charm enveloped me as soon as I entered, showcasing its unique music-themed decor from its days as a museum. I was delighted by the personalized breakfast service, where staff remembered my gluten allergy and provided delicious gluten-free bread each morning. One of the highlights was enjoying a morning stroll along the scenic Rhine river, breathing in the serene atmosphere while soaking up the beauty of this beautiful location.

Hotel was situated within a walking distance of rheinpark. Room was nice when upgraded. The venue was close to Cologne Central train station. Of course, we would recommend it to everyone.

Rooms are decently but not to much luxury

The hotel had a charming atmosphere and clean, comfortable rooms. The bathroom was quite small, made things a bit cramped.

The hotel has "character" and "style". The staff was very friendly. The parking was free although it was mentioned on this site it cost 10 Euro. Breakfast was ok. So net great hotel. I would definitely book it again.

The hotel is very nice, the old buiding is beautiful and the music theme creates nice environmental. I was in a single room, since all my friends stayed at other hotel and the nice was it was a nice, good space single room well equiped, not only a terrible small space sometimes hotel decide to use, which is good. Staff was very nice. I had to leave by 5am and the night personal made me coffe they insisted I should get before leaving. Very attentive. Location is not bad, only 3 stations from central station by tram, but it is not at center.

Should have complete toilette line (shampoo, conditioning and body lotion) as a 4star. Had only general shampoo.

I loved my stay, especially enjoying the fantastic breakfast with fresh bread and fruit, and my room's air-conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather. There are nice spots to relax, like the quiet outdoor terrace and a lovely garden area. The only downside was the small bathroom, but it didn't spoil my overall experience. 😊

My kids wished for larger beds in the room.

Hotel very clean, polite staff and extensive hot & cold buffet breakfast. 10 minute walk to the town centre.

The rooms are very small with the double bed fixed onto a wall so you must climb over the other person to get out. Surprised that a 4 star hotel does not have a bar or restaurant.

I enjoyed my stay with clean and tidy rooms. I was disappointed with the housekeeping, as my room was not cleaned thoroughly . The breakfast area felt overcrowded, affecting my dining experience. Still, it's a good option for a short stay, especially with many restaurants nearby.

We like rather small quiet fine hotel with good breakfast and with safe parking place. That's why this hotel was ideal for us.
